Back at the turn of the previous century there was a spate of round barn building through Iowa, Wisconsin, and other mid-west states. Many of these old behemoths are sadly gone. My home town of Lenox, IA had 2. This one sits on the edge of town and has long been used as a storage shed for the county. As a young boy I used to shoot squirels along this road right at the edge of the town.
