Rosemont La Petite Patrie is a neighborhood in the center east of Montreal. One of its major thoroughfares is Beaubien street depicted in this painting. The double steeples in the background belong to Eglise Saint Marc. The corner featured here is St. Dominique and Beaubien. Two ladies have just met and are having a conversation deciding which cafe to visit. Rosemont baristas serve wonderful home-made brews and delicious cakes and pastries.
