This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks
Artist's Description
Roscoe is a less than perfect specimen of Bulldog if measured against AKC standards. The breeder who failed to sell him kept him in a cage, letting him out only twice a day. By the time he was adopted, Roscoe suffered from agoraphobia. This dog story has a happy ending, however. Roscoe has fully recovered and now leads the spoiled doggy lifestyle in Cocoa Village.
About Vanessa Bates
My fine art is almost exclusively in acrylic. I believe that the canvas is where the true color mixing begins. The colors on my palette are therefore loosely folded together before being applied. The subject matter itself is often chosen for humor, expressed either as visual irony or lighthearted observation. It�s my sincerest hope that any of my views, whether they are inspired by the political or otherwise, be apparent only to those who have an interest in that subject.
