This picture was planned in order to create a strong silhouette of this great Covent Garden performers, when he was juggling with three swards while relaxedly walking on the mid air rope.
The image shows the characteristic grainy quality of traditional black and white photography. Traditional film photographic images are naturally soft rather than extremely sharp.
