Robin Hood the outlaw archer of medieval England draws his bow amidst the dense wood of Sherwood Forest. This legendary hero of folklore is clad in green and is armed with sword and long bow. He stands on a rock by a forest pond with moss covered ruins in the background.
So with the Robin Hood stock trading app in the news in 2021, I'd heard the name of this legendary character enough that I decided to do my own illustration. I had a lot of fun making this one. I actually reused a background from another medieval work I had done featuring the Lady of the Lake from arthurian legend. I really like the strong green tones.
