Description
It is mid-morning, and the man is sound asleep on the sidewalk outside the entrance to an interstate rest stop. His possessions and a bag of empty cans are near his head. Whether truly homeless or merely homeless for the night, he is oblivious to the travelers who look and pass him by and, like me, will never know his story. Copyright 2013 Ann Horn. Ann, do you know that I work at a homeless shelter here in Pensacola? These pics are special to me.

Thank you, Gary, for your insightful words. Living alone is hard for those created to live face to face.
