It is not so much for its beauty that the forest makes a claim upon men's hearts, as for that subtle something, that quality of air, that emanation from old trees, that so wonderfully changes and renews a weary spirit. Robert Louis Stevenson
I love hiking and camping and just generally being out in nature. I have always felt that once in a campground, State Park, National Park, etc that we begin to see the best of people. Maybe Robert Louis Stevenson was right in that being in the forest "... so wonderfully changes and renews a weary spirit."
This happy forest scene was captured in Redwood National Park near Crescent City, California. This was along the trails in Lady Bird Johnson Grove where the ancient groves of coastal redwood trees capture the mind and imagination.
