Michel, I know you have replied to my comments, but I can only see a portion of the comment, and only in the activity box but not here on the actual page. I tried your pixels page also, but the comments are not there either. not sure why, some glitch that happened I guess.
Michel Verhoef replied:
I said that I never reached your in depth interpretation of this image since I always puzzled how the double vase could have appeared..since I shot all these images though glass in those tombs and it must have been a mirroring of the glass...so thanks for stepping beyond that and viewing the whole of it...:)

This remembrance image is sadder than the last. Someone used to come, the vases that are turned over are a last trace of that. Where once there was fresh flowers, all that remains is a huge thick layer where the water slowly evaporated. Maybe they are also no longer here either. Perhaps all that is left is ashes to ashes - dust to dust. Fabulous images, Michel; as all your images are. Maggie

I llike your REMEMBRANCE series. When we emphasize Remenbrance, it give the hint of Being Forgotten, isn't it? Love the light, shadow and texture!
Michel Verhoef replied:
No...when we remember we won't be forgotten !!! Thanks for liking this picture...it's from a series of 12...maybe I will post more some other time...
