Red Wolf (Canis rufus) Critically endangered. Historically was found thurout the southeastern part of the United States, from Pennsylvania to Florida over to Texas. Today, the Red Wolf is found in the North Carolina and a couple of Wildlife Refuges. Lifespan is 6-7 yrs in the wild and up to 15 yrs in captivity. Weight 40-90 lbs
