The most visited mountain in North America and the second most visited mountain in the world behind Japan's Mount Fuji, Pikes Peak (elevation 14,110 feet) forms a stunning backdrop for Colorado Springs and its Garden of the Gods, a city park like no other.
Three of the park's signature Red and White Lyons Sandstone formations are shown in this view: South Gateway Rock on the left, with North Gateway Rock and White Rock in front on the right.
