Description
This delightful melange of cross-cultural symbolism is based on an Ana DelMar collage about spiritualism.
The centerpiece is an eight armed golden Buddha decorated in turquoise, irridescent glitter and garlands of flowers, sitting on a beautifully detailed throne.
Each of the eight hands is in a Buddhist hand mudra (or position). The Buddha has six faces and two heads, one head is framed by butterfly wings.
Silhouettes of Monks in Prayer and children at play, parrots, sea sponge spikes, bull horns and eyes, miniature native Mexican Dancers and miniature Tibetan Buddhist monks floating in meditation all flank the Golden Buddha.
