Red Fox in Autumn Leaves Stalking Prey is part of the Canadian Wildlife Fine Art Photography Collection of Shelley Myke. The Red Fox is a beautiful mammal, sadly it has been hunted for it`s luxurious red fur coat. The slender long black nose and tips of the ears contrast beautifully with the soft white fur collar around the throat and chest areas of it`s lean body with it`s long fur. This close up image captures the true detail and intensity of it`s bright rust red eyes was photographed during one of Shelley`s Canadian Wildlife Photography Workshops and Photo Tours,Fox have large ears which enables them to have excellent hearing when stalking prey in the wild. This wonderful animal was photographed during the fall in Muskoka Ontario Canada. Muskoka is a popular tourist area and is known for it`s autumn colors. This predator sits in wait in the forest surrounded by yellow,golden,green,rust, brown and red autumn leaves.
