Painting - Oil On Tinted Black Glass
Description
Artwork on glass.
All my works are executed by oil paints, on tinted black glass and canvas.
The uniqueness of the pictures consists of unusual contrast of colors. The structure of the tinted glass can reflect image as the mirror does. Painting done on tinted glass is not reflected, due to the paint being put over glass that has passed thermal processing. Pictures can be wiped with a damp soft napkin and it will not be smothered.
This glass painting technique is similar to painted porcelain. The paint coat does not have a thick layer as the thicker coat will get burned in the thermal processing.
All works done in my studio Freehold NJ and are not copied and do not repeat, therefore each work is unique in its own way and has my original signature and style.
