This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

... A sweet bright red barn
sits on the edge
of this pretty pasture,
deep in the heart
of the Smoky Mountains.
A herd of sheep huddle together
under the little porch overhang,
waiting for the misty rain
to stop before heading out
to eat the grass.
Autumn colors dress up the trees
in the forest beyond,
a light fog dancing
high in the clouds above.
Enjoy our Smokies rural scenes,
captured in the countryside
of North Carolina, Tennessee,
