In Nantucket they have a tradition of the Rainbow Fleet Parade that began a couple decades ago. Though as a child I never experienced this tradition, I did sail in my uncle's Rainbow sailboat.

Artist Statement: I am inspired to paint when I feel a sense of sway. Sometimes it begins from listening to music, but it will often come from my own thoughts and what I see.
