This is a close up view of a Fairchild C-119 Flying Boxcar Radial Engine and Propeller. This huge military transport aircraft had two powerful Radial Engines which allowed it to lift heavy loads and transport troops and equipment.
The photograph shows off the detail in the fuselage and a peek inside at the cowl at the powerful Pratt & Whitney radial engine.
