Intensely and meditatively detailed, this this piece is like an Rorschach inkblot test - the more you look, the more you see. Nine circular forms pull and push the boundaries, either magnetically being pulled in by unknown positive or negative forces or struggling to escape the tension.

The details draw you in and have almost a hypnotic effect. Is it a machine, an animal, a virus, a warning, or something else?

Coleman Schoessow draws abstract, steam-of-consciousness art by hand. Drawing in his unusual, intricate, non-objective style is his version of meditation. His work is drawn intuitively, and is highly detailed with interesting design elements that allow for viewer interpretation. This piece was drawn with black ink on illustration board.
