Going to the garden store in the spring is a delight…oh the flowers…the array of colors. Then the huge decision to decide which flowers I need to plant in the garden. This decision is one I make each spring and fall…and oh, how I would love to buy the entire nursery. But for today, I will buy this purple one. I will make some hanging baskets with this and others and enjoy them for the springtime, then others will take their place. Purple is the sign of royalty, and indeed royalty, is this poppy. It is regal, full bodies with sholr, shining in the morning sun. It makes me smile at its beauty.
