Description
A blooming purple Iris that I believe to be a Louisiana Iris and the state flower of Louisiana. I cleaned out some flower beds on the side of the house before they bloomed and didn't realize what they were. I threw the weeds and things into the woods beside the house and now two years later three plants took hold and bloomed in the woods. I might have to dig them up and bring them back over!
