Description
National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, lovingly known as Punchbowl, is located in the Punchbowl crater, that is, inside the old Punchbowl Volcano in Honolulu,Uaju, Hawaii. Honorably discharged military personnel and their families may be buried here. Due to the many and varied people representing numerous cultures, crosses do not mark the graves in any national cemetery. Flat or upright gravestones are used. None is in the form of a religious emblem.
