Description
Sometimes it's more fun to play around than doing whatever it is that you should be doing. I procrastinated sitting down and writing an application for a job I desperately needed, but didn't really want.
I put some newspapers on the kitchen floor, added a big mirror, olive oil, water based hobby paint, a little salt, water and some dishwashing liquid. Then I started creating, or rather making a nice mess. The main ingredient, my camera was of course brought out too, and this was the result.
I have a creative mind, and doing this definitely makes me happier than non-creative jobs will ever do. Unfortunately my creativity doesnt pay the bills......yet.

Indeed Randi, I wish I could have done creative photo shooting my whole life!!! But I had a wife and children that always seemed to be hungry - or cold - or hot - or........!!! Since my 1st wife died, I have been finding great relief in once again shooting things that inspire me! Nice self indulgent image! v
Randi Grace Nilsberg replied:
Thank you so much, Greg. I think this is what great artists manage to do most of the time; focus on their own creativity. The rest of us have so much sense of responsibility for others that we struggle to find the right balance which can be frustrating! However, we do need to let everything else go and be a little selfish sometimes. In the end this will bring more beauty into the world! :-)
