It was a bitter cold gray snowy day in January. Priscilla, lives in New Hampshire, New England and doesn't mind the cold winters.

Priscilla was sipping her hot coffee when the phone rang. It was her grandmother Simone, from France. She asked Priscilla to come visit her after the snow storm ended. She wanted to give her something but would not tell her what it was. The love between Priscilla and her grandmother was very special and Priscilla agreed to come.

When Priscilla arrived at her grandmother's house, nothing has changed. It was still a big beautiful house full of antiques. Priscilla, was very happy to see her grandmother and they had a lot to talk about. Later that day, her grandmother brought out a big red box and gave it to Priscilla, and said "Here is a dress for the most important day in your life!" Both had big smiles on their faces. They hugged each other and Priscilla took the dress. It was a beautiful hand-embroidered dress that her grandmother wore on her wedding day many, many years ago.....Natalie Holland Art
