Description
This is a male Praying Mantis. They have more triangular face, with very big eyes for their head. They are also quite a bit smaller than the girls. This poor guy lost one of his antennae.
I like these bugs because they are so interesting. I have taken many close up photo's of them and they have never tried to hurt me. People love to tell me bad stories about them. Bugs are bugs and even the cute ones do things humans wouldn't appreciate. They also get eaten by birds and animals. We are lucky we don't have the worry everyday that someone might eat us!
