Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Depicted here is a vintage patent illustration, labeled with the number 1,092,110, for a mechanism designed by inventors R. Klein and T. Brueck. The patent was filed on June 29, 1910, and was granted on March 31, 1914, as indicated by the text printed on the document. Technical drawings show various views of the intricate device, including a side representation (Fig. 13), a top-down view (Fig. 1), and two detailed internal configurations (Figs 2 and 3), signed by the inventors and witnessed by C.B. Mirick and G.H. Wilkinson.
