These azaelas were taken behind a shower glass. I love the effect it creates. Azaleas differ from rhododendrons in being generally smaller and having one blossom per stem rather than blossom clusters. They have more seeds in the fruit.Plant enthusiasts have selectively bred azaleas for hundreds of years. This human selection has produced over 10,000 different cultivars which are propagated by cuttings.

Award winning photographer, Penny Lisowski, started using a Nikon 35mm camera in1979. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio and now lives with her childhood sweetheart, Chuck in Winder, Ga. to be near their family,including grandsons Ryan and Greg. In 1992 her husband, Chuck, encouraged her to enter her first exhibition at Photo 92. That first ribbon was just the beginning and since then Penny has won awards at many art shows and exhibitions. In addition to the awards her work is displayed in businesses and homes throughout the country. In her quest to learn more she graduated from the New York Institute of Photography, home study course.
