Description
I shot this photograph in the Jeanne-d'Arc Park, in Quebec city. This park is owned by The National Battlefields Commission (Government of Canada). Each year, in October, Parks Canada Agency organizes a lot of children fun, informative, and educational activities for Halloween in this wonderful environment.
This tombstone pays tribute to Sir Wilfrid Laurier, prime minister of Canada 1896-1911, lawyer, journalist, politician (born 20 November 1841 in Saint-Lin, Quebec, Canada; died 17 February 1919 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada). As leader of the Liberal Party 1887-1919 and prime minister 1896-1911, Laurier was the dominant political figure of his era. He has been the 8th prime minister of Canada.
