Description
A composite image composed of elements taken in Turkey, Oregon, and Washington State.
The initial image of the background was taken from an engraving of W Richardson, printed by W Day called "A Lake in Cujmberland", which may still be in the Vernon Gallery. J.C. "Loutherbourg" is the original painter. The image I used was photographed from my copy of The Art-Journal, Volume XIII, 1851. Published by George Virtue, of Paternoster Row, London. Of course the fused work is extensively modified and multiple manipulations and the inclusion of a model shoot (see let hand corner of work) taken in Spokane, Washington many years ago. This image was acquired for inclusion of the front page of a web site in Brazil some years ago.

Okay Jeff, that is a cool piece of work.
Jeff Burgess replied:
Thanks so much, Athena. I often take pictues of interesting elements while traveling and sometimes they are useful....such as in this case.

Beautiful work. Per your introductory statement, you fuse pictures together. Can you provide some additonal insight or a link to some reference material, so I may learn more of your technique? Thank in you in advance. So many of your pieces are simply spectacular.
