The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Artist's Description
This is an image of an original oil painting on canvas from my Florals series. It depicts a pink and white peony and pink and blue irises at the Chicago Botanic Garden, Illinois, in spring. I attempted to capture the sculptural shapes of the flowers that was emphasized by the morning sunlight, while also portraying their delicacy of texture and colour. The large size of the original piece draws attention to the delicate beauty of these blooms.
