This spot is located beyond the recreation area and doesn't attract as many people but yes it does get crowed. The farther you hike back into the rocks the more beautiful it gets. Oak Creek and Slide Rock are one of the same and depend on the same water sources to keep flowing. Mainly the Monsoon season and the snow melt is the biggest contributer .
