An old tractor sits half-buried in the ground, next to the entrance to a farm in the suburbs outside of Los Angeles, California. Although this tractor is past it's prime, it still is very eye-catching, and adds it's reminder that although we live in a very populated place, our roots are rich in agriculture. The weather that we experience and the climate that we so enjoy here along the Pacific coast is perfect for growing many fruits and vegetables, as well as being the perfect place for growing flowers. A drive along the backroads of many communities will make you feel like you have entered into another world...a world less traveled, past it's prime, and well worth remembering!
