Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….
The ornately carved details of Monserrate Palace are evident in the long, marble columned passageways which ends in a doorway to a walkway overlooking the beautifully designed gardens. If you have a chance, I encourage you to visit Sintra, Portugal, home to many palaces and castles, which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
As a designer, I try to find the little twist that sparks a connection, a wave of delight. When not otherwise occupied with developing brands, logos, packaging and trade show displays, I travel with my artist husband in search of inspiration. Many of the photos are from my home state of Wisconsin and from Spain and Peru. Wherever we go, the camera is in my hand, capturing the little things that inspire awe or make me smile.
