Oyster Sloop, Cos Cob by Childe Hassam. This classic artwork from the public domain was created in 1902 by Boston born American Impressionist painter (Frederick) Childe Hassam, known for his work depicting urban and coastal work. This particular image shows a view of the Cos Cob, in the town of Greenwich, Connecticut. This reproduction image of the original oil on canvas painting currently on display at The National Gallery of Art, Washington DC, has been remastered and color corrected.
