In 1971 the first Starbucks was opened in Seattle on Western Avenue. In 1976 that store was relocated to its current address at 1912 Pike Place Market, making this location in a sense, the original Starbucks or at least the oldest Starbucks. It is across the street from the Pikes Place Market in Seattle.
