It had been raining cats and dogs, when I was biking in Northern France. I was wet and cold. The only thing I wanted was to go home - that is to say, my hotel in Arras. Just when the rain turned into a mild drizzle, I saw this outdoor toilet. I had to stop and take a photo of this surreal scene.
The photo isn't a technical wonder, but it shows the mood of the moment - grey and wet and absurd.
