Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Old Santa Fe Train Depot in Tatum texas is an original photo by Geoff Mckay. A friend suggested a drive through the rolling hills of East texas to the small town of Tatum Texas to check out this old train depot that was moved to Tatum some years ago. I am not sure what the city has planned for the building, perhaps a museum. One can't help to think of the robust past history of passenger travel on the rails of this country. Young couples tarvelling to their honeymoon, soldiers returning home from war,or reconnecting with family who have moved away. Just think if there had been a book in every depot where passengers could write down who they were and where and why they were travelling!
Hi! Thanks for stopping by! I am an East Texas Artist and Photographer. However, I have been concentrating on the photography side of things of late. I have been primarily a pencil artist, but have become inspired by getting out and moving around and seeing what little bits of beauty I can find! I have had photos in the local newspaper and had been focusing on portrait work, but keep finding myself searching the local roadsides and woods. I am mapping out trips to nearby states, so keep coming back, I plan to be uploading on a regular basis! Thanks again for visiting! Geoff
