This is a photograph of a yellow tropical waterlily named 'Louis Gold' that I took in a small pond at the Chicago Botanical Gardens in Glencoe, Illinois. It is a tropical Daylily bloom.

The St. Louis Gold Tropical Water Lily features showy fragrant yellow cup-shaped flowers with gold eyes at the ends of the stems from early summer to late fall. The flowers are excellent for cutting. It's attractive glossy round leaves remain green in color with showy burgundy variegation throughout the year. The fruit is not ornamentally significant.
