After I created this color pencil sketch, it reminded me of a oil painting. I entered it in the Western Art Show in Cheyenne & it sold within the first few minutes of the opening. The show's curator wanted me to create a similar sketch for his house, but I didn't feel I should produce another similar sketch.
The sketch won first place in a Western Art contest & recently won first place in a contest on HORSE PAINTINGS (http://fineartamerica.com/contests/horses.html?tab=overview) and won first place at another contest - BEAUTY OF HORSES (http://fineartamerica.com/contests/the-beauty-of-horses.html?tab=leaderboard) - thanks everyone
