Description
I enjoyed an early morning walk on Bourbon Street and other French Quarter Streets nearby when there were no crowds. While on this stroll, I took pictures of my favorite signs and though this is not a sign, this shows the iconic lanterns found throughout much of the French Quarter. In Topaz software, I used several filters to enhance the lanterns. I have a colorful version, too.

Alt Text: A different viewpoint of gas lamps affixed to the exteriors of structures. The main focus is on the first lamp, with the following five lamps gradually diminishing in size and blending into a gentle blur. I altered the color of my original picture to bronze hues, giving it a classic vintage look. Photo Art by Debra Martz
