Description
In my opinion the beauty of Nebraska is not as appreciated as it should be by a lot of people. They drive through it and don't really stop to look. This is truly "Big Sky Country". I think its great to be able to go to a place where as far as the eye can see there is not a roof in sight. Where you can see a storm coming a hundred miles away. And you could get on a horse and ride forever. I can only imagine what this land was like only a couple of hundred years ago when the plains Indians, the Pawnee, Lakota, Omaha, Oto-Missouri, Ponca and Cheyenne were the stewards of this beautiful land. When buffalo, antelope, and mule deer owned the grass land and not the cattle barons and shepherds. Where fences did not exist.

Beautiful evening sky over these open plains! Moody and atmospheric land. Love the stream, with the old fence straddling alongside aside! Richly lovely land, indeed!

So happy to enjoy these great plains, to imagine the history you describe and love the sunset you have painted. All so very beautiful, Lee. F/L+++
