This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks
Artist's Description
I really wanted to paint that red boat. This is Peggy's Cove Nova Scotia, if you have been there, you will recognize it. From a small study to a large painting this was not only a challenge with texture, but with the lack of texture (in specific, the water!) This painting was done in Holbein acrylics with airbrush and regular brushes. Although this painting is listed as sold, it was actually destroyed with 2 other paintings when Skipjack Nautical Wares (skipjacknauticalwares.com) was caught in a block fire in Portsmouth Va. They have now re-opened at a new location, but alas, only prints are available.
