This is a surreal painting on Yupo paper. It has strong motion and movement in the sky and water. Colorful and dramatic in execution. A provocative display of color and emotion.

Art has been my passion for most of my life. I studied at the Art Students League in New York City, then worked in the graphic arts field. For many years I have been painting in watercolor, oil, and acrylic mediums. My style has changed from realism to include impressionistic and abstract compositions. I want to capture the shapes and colors of nature by experimenting with different surfaces. Yupo and oriental papers allow me a freedom with watercolor and acrylic paints and inks.The medium and paper always lead me on to new paths of discovery.
