Murdoch Mysteries Carriage is exactly what it is..it is a digital painting based on a photograph I captured in August Down Town Hamilton while the Tv crue from Canada's top-rated homegrown forensic drama MURDOCH MYSTERIES where shooting an episode right at the Custom House (one of the oldest remaining "federal" public buildings in Canada. Its style and construction reflect the rise of Hamilton as a major railway and Great Lakes port. It is often cited as "one of Hamilton's foremost architectural landmarks"). The CBC's most-watched scripted program, with an average television viewership of more than 1.2 million. Set in Toronto in the early 1900s, needed are theater looking architecture and used this historical site and proped it up with horses and carriage ..this is the original carriage from the tv series. The program is now going into it seven season with the premier on September 30,2013! It is av very addicting series. You can also see previous seasons on Netflix. I transphormed my photograph to look aged and from the 1900's era. Brown colors and scratchs, discolorations with some textures..and manipulations with digital painting.
