Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….
"Mums The Happy Fall Flower" When I saw these mums, I had to purchase them for our garden during the fall months. The color variagations in these mums, were so colorful, they shouted "so happy to that fall is here" to me. How I shot this image was to bring out the mums warm color tones, that to me is falls welcoming season's color, even though it is turning cool, the colors of fall are warmth like that of our fires in our fireplaces. I think it is God's way to let us to know He is keeping us warm by His color palette during the fall months and through the winter months to follow. I used different methods of painting to give this a painterly effect.
