Description
Mt. Everest is the tallest mountain in the world. It is part of the Himalayas mountains, in Nepal, and is just over 29,000 feet high. There are dangerous crevasses in the thick glacier ice, which must be crossed on the way to the mountain. Climbers must stay at base camp for a few days, before climbing up tp camp one. They must move on to camp two, three, and four, before finally reaching the summit. One out of four climbers will die during their decent due to extreme fatigue, hypoxia, hypothermia, dehydration, mountain sickness, confusion, blindness, weakness, frostbite, and falls.
