This is the most beautiful painting! I feel lucky and blessed that I came across it! My husband and I honeymooned in Mo’orea and we had taken many pictures in front of this church. To find that Greg Collins painted it was such a joy! We will treasure it forever!

I was super-pleased with my photo print purchase! Like many people, I’m sure, when making online purchases there’s always just a little voice of skepticism in the back of my mind. I knew I liked the image, but had to roll the dice that it would look good in person, the frame would be adequate, etc. I must say it exceeded even my hopeful expectations! First of all, the packing was stellar. The photo print did look great in person, and the framing was WAY better than I was expecting! It was ready to go with a sturdy hanging wire already in place. Unfortunately it was a gift, so I don’t have a photo of it on my wall! I did, however, open and inspect it before wrapping it and re-shipping (in the same stellar packing!). I would easily recommend FineArtAmerica and will happily shop with them again in the future…worry free!

Plot:
"Captains of the Clouds" is set during the early days of World War II and focuses on the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF). The film follows the story of Brian MacLean (played by James Cagney), a bush pilot in Canada who operates a small flying service.
When war breaks out, MacLean and his fellow pilots are eager to join the RCAF and contribute to the war effort. However, they face challenges in meeting the strict requirements for RCAF pilots, as their civilian flying experience is vastly different from military aviation.
