Description

This is a photo I took of a sunflower which grew on my deck last year. I waited patiently for the flower to reach its full potential, knowing I wanted to capture its beauty. The goldfinches were watching as well, and managed to snatch a petal before I could snap a picture, so my sunflower is not quite perfect. This image was the cover of The Showcase Magazine in the fall of 2012.
