(Copyright Mel Steinhauer all rights reserved) This locally famous old General Store is located in Northern Kentucky, not very far from Cincinnati and a bit too close to the Ohio River. Just take a closer look, under the front porch and you will see the water. The store has been in continuous operation since 1831 and has survived many floods and even a devastating fire just a few years ago. One of my favorite places locally to visit, I recently drove down the hill to Lower River Road just to check the water level and to see the...Morning Shadows At Rabbit Hash.

I created this image from my original photograph taken on location by adding digital enhancements, textures or painterly-style effects. These effects and image details will become more visible by clicking inside the green magnifier square as the cursor is placed over the image.
