Catherine Howard Born in Saskatchewan and raised in Kingston, Ontario, I recently moved back to the area after being away for many years. Colour is my obsession, and I am constantly mixing, experimenting, and learning. Working primarily in acrylics, either on board or canvas, my paintings are completed with a palette knife, or brushes, or a combination of both. I find inspiration all around me, in music, in books, or in my beautiful surroundings and complete my paintings either plein air or in my studio. My goal is to tell visual stories, to evoke memories and emotions, for myself and hopefully for the viewer.
