"Misty Orange Sunrise on Boy Lake" by Patti Deters. A beautiful foggy orange sunrise on Boy Lake one morning in July. The mist was still floating along the top of the water and the only movement was the gentle swaying of the reeds from the water ripples made by a passing boat. The riverbank on the far shore is covered in trees and marsh reeds and makes a silhouette of the horizon. Northern Minnesota just doesn't get any better than this! Hi! My artwork is photography of all things nature, especially wildlife, flowers, and landscapes. Many of the flowers and wildlife images are from my local area around Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. Others are from photo trips taken with my husband of 40+ years. Some of the images are what I like to call "documentary art" - that is, I capture the best photos from wherever I am and then enhance them - sometimes a little, sometimes a lot - to make my own kind of "real life" art. Other images are more digital and simple, and those tend to portray the softer side of nature.
