Driving from Mena, Arkansas, to Talihina, Oklahoma on the Talimena Scenic Byway is an exhilarating thrill. There's a surprise after each hugging turn, something to behold, a vista worth of pulling over, vegetation to admire. This was the case for me after I as ascending in the mist, as I was cresting the ridge. I noticed this isolated tree growing in the midst of evergreens and I knew I had to stop to show it to the world. Thank you so much for looking, and enjoy!
